Our custom process is full service, and includes verbiage assistance, addressing, printing, assembly, postage and mailing, so you can have fun working with me on colors, aesthetic and style. Once the invitations are in the mail, let’s apply the custom designs throughout all components of your event from signage, to programs, menus, thank you cards, and more for fully cohesive event.
STEP 1
CONSULTATION & BOOKING
Let’s chat! We want to hear your story and understanding your vision. This can happen on a phone call, video chat, over email, or in person. Then, we’ll put together a quote with costs, ideas and timeline.
Step 2
SKETCHES & INSPIRATION
We’ll send you a questionnaire to get all the details about your project. We will combine any inspiration images you provide along with additional inspiration we find to create a moodboard. We’ll share it with you to confirm we are on the right track before we start designing.
Step 3
DESIGN CONCEPTS
By now we are ready to tap into our creative zone and begin working on design concepts. We will generally show 2-3 concepts depending on the type of project. You will select your favorite concept and provide any additional feedback for us to incorporate.
Step 4
PROOFING, PRINTING, AND OR EXPORTING
When the design is complete, we will send you a final proof to make sure every last detail is correct. Once you have approved the final proof we will move your project into production. For logo projects, digital files will be prepared and exported based on project specifications.
Step 5
FINISHING TOUCHES
Once printing is complete, we will carefully pack up your project for shipment. For invitations, we also offer digital calligraphy, custom designed or sourced vintage postage, as well as assembly and mailing services. If you are interested in hand calligraphy we can make arrangements for this with a talented calligrapher.
